Drop-in Programming – Available during open hours

In addition to Open Play time, we offer a variety of drop-in activities throughout the year, such as take-home craft kits or scavenger hunts. Stop in to pick up a coloring sheet or word search puzzle. Drop by to see what we have going on!

Preschool Storytime & Babytime Storytime – Ongoing

Pre-school Storytimes are most Fridays at 10:00 a.m. in the Storytime Room. Babytime storytimes are held Wednesdays at 10:00, for newborns to 2 yrs (older siblings are also welcome!) Check our Facebook page for upcoming Storytimes. 

Lego Day- Ongoing

Lego Days are most Thursdays from 3:00-4:45. For elementary-age children, your builders can dig through our bin of legos to create the perfect creation. Free build or use one of our challenge cards for inspiration. When their build is complete, we will keep it on display until the next one.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten – Ongoing

The Sheboygan Falls Memorial Library has partnered with the Sheboygan Falls School District to offer our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. When you sign up for the program, your child will receive a tote bag and free book!

Keep track of the books you read with our reading logs, coloring in one shape for each book read. If you read a book more than once, you may count it again. Completed reading logs can be turned in at the library front desk for rewards.

Upon completion of the program, your child’s picture will be featured in the Sheboygan Falls News and on our 1,000 Books Wall of Fame. Pick up your registration form and a free tote at our front desk during open hours!

Summer Reading Program- Annual

The Summer Reading Program runs for 6 weeks every summer and is open to kids, teens, and adults. Participants track their reading and earn special rewards for completing challenges. 

Our 2024 Summer Reading Program has ended, but stay tuned for information about 2025’s Summer Reading Program!

Fireside Book Club for Adults – Ongoing

The Fireside Book Club meets the 2nd Monday of every month, at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m. Discussion books cover a variety of genres, including nonfiction, historical, and popular fiction. Ask a librarian to find out the selection of the month. Books are available at the front desk.
